Discover Drai's Supper Club New York

If there’s one spot that perfectly balances New York’s vibrant nightlife with fine dining, it’s Drai's Supper Club New York at 244 W 14th St, New York, NY 10011, United States. From the moment you step inside, the energy feels like a mix between an upscale lounge and a late-night haven for food lovers and music enthusiasts. The lighting is sultry yet inviting, setting the tone for an evening that blends culinary craftsmanship with a hint of Vegas glamour.

What makes this spot truly unique is how it merges dining and entertainment seamlessly. On my first visit, I wasn’t sure what to expect-would it be more of a nightclub or a restaurant? It turned out to be both, in the best possible way. The atmosphere shifts with the evening: you might start with a glass of wine and appetizers under soft jazz and end your night with live DJs spinning remixes as the dance floor fills up. The transformation feels natural and exhilarating.

The menu at Drai’s Supper Club is another story worth telling. Think elevated comfort food with a modern twist-perfectly seared steaks, buttery lobster tails, and truffle-infused sides that remind you why dining in New York never disappoints. The chef’s tasting menu is a highlight, offering a curated selection of dishes that showcase both creativity and precision. During my last visit, the pan-seared scallops served over a bed of cauliflower purée left a lasting impression. They were cooked just right-crispy edges, tender inside-and paired with a citrus glaze that balanced every bite.

Service here deserves a special mention. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, managing that fine balance between professionalism and warmth. The sommelier’s wine recommendations, especially a crisp Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, complemented the seafood courses perfectly. According to data from the National Restaurant Association, more than 70% of diners consider service quality as a deciding factor for returning to a restaurant, and Drai’s nails that effortlessly.

The location itself adds to the charm. Situated in the heart of Manhattan’s nightlife district, the restaurant offers easy access to nearby attractions, yet it feels like a destination in itself. Walking down 14th Street, the bright marquee lights make it impossible to miss, drawing in both locals and tourists. Food critics from platforms like Eater NY and Time Out have praised the venue for blending sophistication with a playful edge, and after visiting multiple times, I can confirm the hype is justified.

Beyond the food, what gives Drai’s its edge is the experience. It’s not just about eating; it’s about being part of a scene. Imagine savoring your entrée while a live band warms up for the night’s performance. Or sipping cocktails as the lighting gradually deepens, transforming dinner into a lively celebration. There’s a sense of rhythm to the evening that keeps guests coming back-something that can’t be replicated by formula or design alone.

For those who like to check reviews before visiting, a quick look online shows consistently high ratings across major platforms. Patrons rave about the music lineup, the ambiance, and the consistency of the food. A friend of mine, a culinary consultant who’s dined at Michelin-starred establishments, mentioned that Drai’s combines “the energy of nightlife with the finesse of fine dining”-and honestly, that sums it up best.

The trust the restaurant has earned from regulars and first-timers alike comes from its transparency and quality. Everything, from the locally sourced ingredients to the artistry in plating, speaks of care and authenticity. Even during busy nights, the kitchen maintains impeccable standards. It’s evident that behind the glamour lies a disciplined team that takes pride in what they do.

In short, dining at Drai’s Supper Club New York isn’t just a meal-it’s an evening-long story, filled with great food, music, and the pulse of the city that never sleeps. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, entertaining clients, or simply looking for a night that feels effortlessly special, this is one address that deserves a spot on your list.

  • From the moment I stepped into Drai’s Supper Club, I knew I was in for something special. The ambiance strikes a rare balance between sultry elegance and high-energy sophistication—perfectly curated for an unforgettable night out. But it wasn’t just the vibe that made the evening exceptional. It was the food, the wine, and most of all, the impeccable service. Let’s talk about the stars of the show: the steak and bone marrow. The steak arrived perfectly charred on the outside, rich and tender within—each bite bursting with bold, peppery flavor. Paired with the indulgent bone marrow, served piping hot and gleaming like liquid gold, the dish was pure decadence. It’s the kind of plate you want to savor slowly, hoping it never ends. Equally impressive was the service. Our waiter wasn’t just knowledgeable—he was intuitive. After a brief conversation about preferences, he recommended a wine pairing that was absolutely spot-on: full-bodied, smooth, and beautifully matched to the richness of the meal. It elevated the entire experience, showing a level of attentiveness and expertise that’s rare even in the best dining rooms. Drai’s isn’t just a place to eat—it’s an experience. Whether you’re a local looking to celebrate or a visitor searching for a night to remember, make sure this spot is on your list. And a special shoutout to who I can only assume was the manager. Didn’t catch her name but she was gracious, warm, and present every step of the way—effortlessly making us feel like VIPs without ever being overbearing.

  • Drai’s Supper Club was a fantastic experience from the minute I walked through the door. I was greeted at the door and seated immediately. The chairs were comfortable, the restaurant is beautiful. The wall art, the lighting, the room, the live music all comes together to give a perfect setting for any dinner. Then as for the food itself, it was phenomenal. We had the black truffle risotto, the tomato and burrata tarte, the rack of lamb, the hanger steak, the chocolate chip cookies, the vanilla ice cream martini, and the espresso martinis. Everything was so good, I can’t even put it into words to describe it. You just have to try to for yourself. The service was excellent and very attentive to anything we could possibly need. Very clean establishment, great service, and better food.

  • Genuinely can’t say enough good things about this place! I moved to NYC to try and find the quintessential 20s Roaring Era Supper Club experience and I can’t help but believe that Drai and his incredible team nailed it to a T! As soon as the curtains open up, you’re instantly transported to a perfectly curated Hollywood set where you’re the main character while the staff gives you the VIP treatment as they graciously escort you to your table. If Hospitality was a currency, everyone in this establishment has the skill, attention to detail, and poise to be able to proudly call themselves billionaires! I’ve never felt more at home at a nighttime venue and the host (Drai himself) is heavily invested in ensuring everyone has the time of their lives. The staff feel like real people and the crowd is so incredibly diverse, gorgeous, and classy that it’s hard not to feel like you belong. I’ve been to a lot of notable venues around the city and this magical experience truly takes the cake! I can definitely see myself and my partner being regulars here. Phenomenal staff, incredible ambience, eclectic live music, and the food and drink’s are *chef’s kiss* Thank you so much for having us!

  • We came here to celebrate our anniversary — honestly, mainly for the jazz — and it turned out to be such a special night. The live music completely set the mood; those smooth jazz vibes instantly transported me to old-school NYC, with that timeless elegance and energy. We started with the warm tomato tart and Caesar salad, followed by the slow-cooked chicken — everything was absolutely perfection. You can really taste the craftsmanship in each dish. And their banana espresso martini? Next-level. Probably one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the whole experience. Between the music, the ambiance, and the food, it truly felt like a scene from another era — the kind of night that makes you forget time exists. P.S Gratuity was included in the final bill.

  • Drais supper club has finally made it from LV to NYC. The chic, throwback jazz lounge and speakeasy offers amazing fare, lovely music and atmosphere. Truly, it’s the very epitome of The Gilded Age/ swanky 60s, to which it hearkens. We absolutely loved it and our server, J’on, really made our dinner special. His knowledge of the food and wine was encyclopedic. Thank you!

  • We had the most fabulous, luxurious dining experience celebrating my dear friend Desiree’s birthday! The food was honestly mouthwatering & some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in Manhattan (I’ve lived here 12 years). Highly Recommend the salmon, risotto, fries and the Lychee martini!
